Every day was filled with vibrant energy, enthusiasm, and joy. This year, we’re excited to introduce Titan Time every Tuesday—30-minutes dedicated to strengthening our campus-wide community. Last week, students were introduced to our revised core beliefs, known as TITANS. Each class engaged in grade-level activities designed to explore and embrace these core values. We believe that strong communities are built on clear, shared beliefs, and we’re thrilled to see these values come to life throughout the school year. We encourage you to support and inspire our students as they discover and live out the TITANS beliefs!
Holy Trinity Core Beliefs Treasure our Faith and Values Inspire self and others Think critically and creatively Act with integrity Nurture our community Serve Others This year our efforts across Holy Trinity are focused by a purposeful mission, informed by our core beliefs, and guided by our theme for the year.
● Mission: We prepare students intellectually, spiritually, morally, and physically, for the world in which they live. ● Core beliefs: Treasure our Values and Virtues, Inspire self and others, Think critically and creatively, Act with integrity, Nurture our community, Serve Others ● Focus Theme for the year: Who are we? Where are we going? How do we get there? You will see this framework referred to often and included in messaging throughout the year. The point of including the frame is to remind us all that our work is guided by our faith, a clear mission, and core beliefs. Last Tuesday families received a message about STAR testing. Upcoming messages include Tuesday, September 17th a message about adjustments to the grading policy and the 24th, a message about safety procedures. BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT is scheduled for September 25th, 5:30-7:30. We look forward to seeing families that evening as we begin to forge partnerships for success. We will strive to maximize the time we have to ensure it is meaningful, positive, and informative. Thank you for making time for this event. VIRTUES - This year, we are continuing our exploration of virtues and how they guide our lives. This week’s virtue is FAITH which is believing in God and all that has been revealed to us. “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Thank you for continuing our students' learning of the virtue of the week beyond the school day.
TRAFFIC - Thank you for making the drop off and pick up routine safer, especially at the front of the school. Last week we also reiterated some safety guidelines for the Kindergarten/First grade pick up to improve the safety of that area—pick up students and depart, keep students from playing on the electrical boxes and railing, and be sure students are accompanied by an adult as they cross the parking lot.
GRATITUDES - Thank you servers from the weekend Nathan and Eli.Sunday at the conclusion of the 9:30 mass Fr. Bill extended a blessing to members of the Holy Trinity staff who were present. We are grateful for the support of the Holy Trinity parish and the acknowledgement of the staff. Thank you to 8th graders for hosting mass last week. So far this year they’ve exhibited exemplary leadership and we are grateful for all they do every day to model what it means to be a Holy Trinity student.
