Spelling Bee Winners
On Thursday, April 4th, HT students participated in our school spelling bee in conjunction with the Annual Oregon Spellers Contest for Washington County and the Oregon Association for Talented and Gifted. Our two winners will go on to the 2019 Washington County Spelling Bee on April 25th. Congratulations to:
Community Service Committee
For our 2nd community service project we are teaming up with the organization SOLV to help do a community litter pick up in the Forest Park Neighborhood. Every year people driving and walking the streets through and around Forest Park leave behind over a ton of trash. We need help cleaning this up. Join us for a friendly and well-coordinated effort to keep the streets of Forest Park neighborhood a beautiful place to ride and walk.
2nd Grade Living Stations
You are invited to attend our 2nd grade hosting of the Living Stations on Thursday, April 18th at 9:15am in the church. This is a wonderful tradition at HT and an excellent way to prayerfully prepare for Easter.
Track & Field Results
The season kicked off in some pretty intense rain, but our athletes were resilient and ended up having a good day at the track.
Going Green for Earth Day!
In preparation for Earth Day on April 22nd, our first graders are encouraging us to all Go Green! Students can join in by completing tasks that help us reduce, reuse and recycle. First graders made a list for families to use on School Speak. Please complete the form by Monday, April 22nd and your student(s) can earn a Green Free Dress Day on Friday, April 26th.
If you can, please come help us string Rosaries with the Kindergarteners on Weds May 8th from 12:30 - 2pm. If you are able to take a bit of extra time the week before to learn how to make the ending knot, please come for one of the training times for that too.
Rosary Knot Training Days (just pick one)
6,7,8 Grade Chromebook RSVP
If your 6th, 7th or 8th grade student would like to bring a personal Chromebook to school for school use in Trimester 3, please complete this Google Form. Once we have an RSVP, we will contact parents about bringing Chromebooks for installation of required software (Google licensing and screen monitoring). Please contact Ashley Sheridan if you have questions (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you come to the school to volunteer, you must check with the office first. If your volunteer requirements are not completed, you will not be allowed to volunteer that day and your account has become inactive. Please contact Ms. Hittner at email@example.com to find out what requirements you need to complete before you are eligible to volunteer.
