Nike Re-Use A Shoe!
As you may know, each month at our school we have a different theme that connects to our Catholic values. Our September value is WELCOMING. The 8th grade class is WELCOMING the new school year by supporting a program for our community and the environment by collecting old shoes that are ready for recycling through the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe program. The Nike Reuse-A-Shoe program recycles these shoes and makes them into running tracks for schools, new shoes, and much more. It’s a great program that supports our community and the environment. So don’t throw away those old shoes quite yet! Please bring the old shoes that are ready for recycling to the bin in the school lobby during the month of September. Please remove the laces and in-soles before tossing them in the bin.
