Another virtue that is so important to help our students learn. We often encounter dishonesty around us in messaging, intent, or action. Equipping our students with a strong sense of honesty can help them act confidently in the way God calls us to be. At school that means speaking with honesty, presenting a positive and truthful self to others, and kindly and sincerely expressing feelings or opinions.
Principal's MessageThe Wizard of Oz offers a melodious reminder that there’s no place like Holy Trinity. The production was possible only thanks to the collective efforts of so many. Which is true each day at our school. This week during Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week we celebrate the dedication and joy of our Holy Trinity Educators. We know they draw on their brains and hearts, every day. On Friday, after weeks of preparation, planning, and anticipation, we can follow the yellow brick road to a successful Titan Run.
Titan Run - May 10th
Titan Run is here! Update on total: $73,250! This is it – we are on our last drive to the finish. We are looking forward to the day of the run finally being here. Prizes are wrapping up this week until the big post race raffle. Donations are still coming in, sponsorships are being finalized, and students are gearing up for the day. Keep reaching out to donors you have yet to contact. We want every student to strive to reach their $250 goal. Prize timeline. There may be some “pop up” prizes along the way. May 6: Meet the individual $250 goal receive tickets for a gift card raffle. May 7: Students with pledges exceeding $250 qualify for three extra raffle tickets and a spectacular prize. May 8: Gift card Raffle prizes awarded May 10: Titan Run - running times: 8:30-9 (preK, K), 9:15-10:15 (1-4); 10:30-11:30; (5-8). Wizard of Oz - Spring Musical May 3rd & 4thWhat a fabulous production of Wizard of Oz by Holy Trinity. The community came together to celebrate the accomplishment of a cast of students from across the grades. Both performances had full houses on hand to see the collective efforts of students and staff. Tremendous thanks to Northwest Children’s Theatre, especially Bean Jones, for partnering with HT again. We are grateful to the parents and volunteers who made it all possible. Special thanks to Jiae Erpelding who organized volunteers, details, and so many munchkins.

Congratulations First Communion RecipientsThank you to Gemma Cowan, Chris Storm, and Father Bill, for all of their support of our second graders this year. They supported their journey through first reconciliation and first communion. This past weekend dozens of Holy Trinity second graders received first communion.
4th/5th Symphony + Recorder ConcertLast week our 4th and 5th grade students performed at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall with the Oregon Symphony. Our students joined others from around the city for a musical celebration. They added their recorder prowess with that of dozens of other students. Thank you to Jeanette Ehmke for her tremendous organizational efforts and the parent chaperones and drivers.
PTO NewsHoly Trinity Parents, the deadline to log your share point hours is this Friday, May 10. Reminders went out over the last two weeks. Any remaining balance after Friday will be billed to your Facts account. Dress Code - Reminders for warmer weatherAs the warm weather begins it is time for some reminders about dress code. According to our handbook, students may wear pants, sweatpants, warm-ups, or shorts that touch your fingertips in length. No leggings or tights as outerwear, meaning they could be worn under shorts or skirts. Students must wear shirts that cover their shoulders and midriff.

Special note about dress code for Titan Run During Titan Run students are expected to follow the school dress code. All students will be wearing the Titan Run t-shirt provided to them by the school. We want to be sure students wear appropriate shorts. An easy solution for shorts, if you are concerned, would be to wear your P.E. uniform shorts to Titan Run.
