CYO Basketball Registration

Basketball registration is now open!
  • Athletes (3rd - 8th) please register here: https://www.cyocamphoward.org/content/16503/HT-Basketball
  • Athletes (1st and 2nd) please register here: https://www.cyocamphoward.org/content/18513/HT-Basketball-Hot-Shots.
  • Interested in coaching? Please register at the same link as a coach.

You may notice that registration fees have risen since last year and we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge increase and explain the reason. First, our club pays a base fee to CYO for each athlete that registers. CYO's base fee has risen over 20% since last year. Our club also covers a $40 fee for each of our volunteer coaches. At the same time, our CYO Board is carefully planning for some known upcoming expenses, including a new volleyball net and a score board repair. The registration fees are aimed to help us plan for these costs while attempting to keep our costs as low as possible to maximize participation.  We appreciate your support and understanding as we navigate these issues. Go Titans!

The Holy Trinity web store has new fan gear items and a couple new tabs - School Fan Gear and Hot Shots. More fan gear and PE Gear will follow next week. Shop here: https://holytrinitycyo.gearupsports.net

Virtue of the Week- Justice

This week our students are studying the virtue of Justice. Justice helps us weigh what is right and fair and to act accordingly. Christian justice sees with the eyes of the heart, animated and motivated by charity.
Live the virtue of Justice by giving to each, beginning with God, what is due him. Check in with your child! How do they demonstrate the virtue of Justice?

Oct 7 Extended Care

There is no school this Friday, October 7 as all teachers will be in professional development. If your students needs to attend Extended Care this Friday, please reserve a spot with an email to Matt Wulff at mwulff@htsch.org. EC will be open 6:30am-6:00pm if we have enough children to staff the program. Students must be signed up.

Supporting Homework

Students in grades 3-8 have homework each day. Each student has a school provided planner that they should write their homework in each day. Teachers are writing homework on the board and giving time in class to write down these important items. Please check your child's planner each night for homework, quiz and test dates and notes about school. Teachers also post homework on FACTS in the Family Portal. 3rd-8th parents can check homework and grades anytime online!

Lost & Found

Do any of these items belong to your child(ren)?

Employer Matching Gifts Programs

Did you know that there’s a way for Holy Trinity School to increase their fundraising revenue without you having to give more? Hi, my name is Riza Tang, mom to a 4th grader. For the last few years I’ve been able to help boost HT’s fundraising revenue with my employer’s matching gift program. The company I work for is big on giving and double matches my contributions. That means for every $1 I donate, my employer will donate $2. This year my donations will cover my family’s volunteer hours and the upcoming Titan Run.
Matching gifts are underutilized because not everyone knows that their donations are eligible. Many employers participate in matching gifts programs where they will match charitable donations and/or volunteer hours made by their employees. Is your employer one of them? If your employer has a matching gifts program, check their program guidelines to see if they will match your donation and/or volunteer hours to HT School. If HT School isn’t on their list, you can suggest the school be added by providing the school’s name, address and registration/tax ID to your employer.
  • Address: 13755 SW Walker Rd., Beaverton, OR 97005-1017
  • Registration ID: 93-0549599
This isn’t limited to just the parents of HT. Let your friends and family know that their donation to our school’s only fundraiser, the Titan Run, could be eligible for a matching gift from their employer. Some companies will even match their retirees’ donations! Now that you are aware, let’s make sure our school is realizing its fundraising earnings potential!
Thank you for your time. Love and blessings, Riza
