Mask Requirements

ODE, OHA and the CDC have updated their face covering guidance. Beginning tomorrow (Tuesday, 10/27), ONLY face masks are allowed on campus. Face shields, neck gaiters and masks with ventilation pieces are not allowed. Students can wear a face shield with a mask. We have hundreds of face masks in the office. If you need cloth masks or disposable masks, please let Ms. Spieler know ([email protected]).

7th graders in Ms. K's Podcasting elective have created their first audio masterpieces! Their first task was to record a picture book with sound effects and background music. Check our their work!

You can track Washington County metrics here. To open Kinder through 3rd Grade, we need 30 or fewer cases per 100,000 for three consecutive weeks.​​​ To open 4th-8th grades, we need 10 or less cases per 100,000 for three consecutive weeks.​​​

Halloween 2020!

We are excited to host our first Trunk or Treat! There are many volunteer options on School Speak here. Please know we are choosing to gather together to support the mental and emotional health of our students by providing normalcy and fun. In order to make this the safest event possible and protect our school, please exercise the utmost caution when visiting and trick or treating.
IMPORTANT UPDATES:

• Please sign up for a time to visit our Trunk or Treat on School Speak. We are limiting visitors to 50 people at a time in compliance with Washington County guidelines.
• The playground is NOT open during this event.
• Masks are required. Costume masks are not personal protective equipment.
• Those passing out candy must wear gloves. HT will provide.
• Please follow all social distancing guidelines. Cones will mark out six feet apart along the walking route.
• Restrooms are closed.
• Our students are well practiced in social distancing. Parents, please follow their example!

We will have Fall Picture on Monday and Tuesday, November 2nd and 3rd, this year! Click here for information from Dorian Studio.

• Monday and Tuesday: 9:45-12:00 pictures for In-Person Learning students
• Tuesday: 3:00-5:30pm pictures for Digital Learning students. As we get closer, we will send out a sign up for families to ensure a smooth process and social distancing.
