21-22 Staffing Updates

With the graduation of our double 8th grade class, we must say goodbye to two very talented Middle School teachers. We will miss both greatly next year as a part of our HTCS faculty.
Ms. EmmaLee Kuhlmann, 6/7 ELA and electives:
  • After three amazing years of teaching HT middle schoolers, I will be leaving at the end of the year. While I am devastated to say goodbye to such an incredible community, including my amazing students, I know that God's plan is bigger and better than my own. While I am sad to leave Holy Trinity, I am excited to be remaining in the Archdiocese: next year, I will be teaching middle school social studies at Cathedral school in Portland. I will be praying for everyone at HT, and I ask that you pray for me, too, as I start a new chapter.
Mrs. Dianna Flaig, 5/6/8 Math and Geometry:
  • “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord.  “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.  Plans to give you hope and a future.”  Jeremiah 29:11  Indeed, the Lord has plans for me, but they no longer include teaching at Holy Trinity.  Sadly, I will say good-bye at the end of the school year.  I have been part of the Holy Trinity community since 2010 and it has been a wonderful experience: both as a school parent and teacher.  My heart is full of happy memories, and I count myself blessed to be part of this school.  While change is never easy, my trust is in God, and I find comfort knowing His plan for me is perfect.
Mrs. Rachelle Romero, returning in a new role:
  • Ms. Romero is returning to HT after a year off due to health issues. We are so excited to have her back! She will teach Prek through 5th grade Art and step in to substitute wherever she can. Thank you for your prayers for her healing miracle!

Engineering Expo Display

Ms. Woodward and her talented 6th, 7th and 8th grade students have completed their annual Engineering Exposition. Students identify a problem in their life and then engineer the solution. Parents and students can walk the display downstairs from 3:15 to 4:30 from May 6-14 and check out the amazing talent in our middle school.

Penny Drive Results!

This was an outstanding Penny Wars competition!  We brought in more money than we have in the last 4 years!  Our grand total for this year's competition was $3,167.91.  That means that $31,679.10 of medical supplies will get where they need to go - including the dental van that's parked in the Fireside parking lot today!  That's an amazing number!  Everyone should feel proud of themselves.  You guys worked hard!

The final results are below.  A shout-out to 3rd grade for bringing in a total of $145.77 in pennies!  (14,577 to be exact!)  That was nearly 3 times as many pennies as the next class!
