Speaking up for others, interrupting unkind words or actions, trying something new with confidence, and extending ourselves to others. We can help students practice fortitude by encouraging them to be mindful of decisions they make every day and having the strength of character to make the right decision, even if it may not seem to be the easy or popular one.
Principal's MessageThe three day weekend to commemorate Memorial Day falls at a beneficial time for schools. First, it is a time to recall those who are no longer with us and to acknowledge those who served or gave their lives in service to our nation. The additional day of rest is a chance to take a good deep breath before the rush of the end of school. Amidst the hubbub of the end of the year we pause to recognize and celebrate our 8th graders for all they’ve done while at Holy Trinity and to wish them well on the next stage of their journey.
Last week the 4th graders joined their Kindergarten buddies out by the garden area for the release of butterflies the Kindergarteners watched grow from chrysalis to butterfly. The butterflies took their time getting their wings acclimated and then flew off. In a couple of weeks our 8th graders will do the same. 8th Grade next stepsCongratulations to the 8th grade class of 2024. Our graduates will be welcomed as freshman this coming fall at these schools:
Central Catholic High School Jesuit High School Mountainside High School Sherwood High School St. Mary's Academy Valley Catholic Valor Christian Westview High School Spring Concert (Pre-K through 5th grades)Our Holy Trinity Spring Concert will be two weeks from today, Tuesday, June 4 at 5pm in the Church! A few special reminders for the night of the concert. PERFORMANCE ATTIRE:
Field DayField Day is Thursday, June 6th. Our tradition is for 8th graders to host field day stations as their final gift to our community. Students will be split into 20 groups. Each group will consist of Pre-K through 7th graders and a staff member to lead them from station to station. Groups are assigned free dress T-Shirt colors to identify them- similar to the Titan Run. After field day is over, kids get to enjoy an 8th Grade vs. Staff volleyball game.
Please click the button below and scroll through the list to locate your child's name. You'll see the name of the teacher that will lead them to their stations and their T-Shirt color to wear on Thursday, June 6th. End of School PicnicLet’s kick-off the summer with a fun school community event! Upon early dismissal June 14th, head out to the playground area with your kid(s). We’ll have a delicious Taco Bar, music, a photo area, inflatable Axe Throwing and Baseball Throwing, and fun carnival games with PRIZES. In addition, Handel’s Ice Cream will be onsite to serve your favorite flavors for purchase. Handel’s will donate a percentage of the proceeds back to the school! To keep this event fun and safe, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please sign-up here to volunteer. Children attending must have a parent/guardian present. We look forward to seeing you for one last school hurrah!
