Masks & Facial Coverings

Wearing a mask or face covering is required for all who enter campus at HT. Masks can be cloth, disposable, reusable, homemade or store-bought. Face shields need to be long and wide plastic pieces that cover the mouth, chin, nose and extend to the ears. The school has several types of masks for students if needed.

If a student struggles to follow our required mask rules, we will take this very seriously. Staying open and providing an excellent education means we do our utmost to keep students healthy and protected.
  1. First issue with mask compliance- Student is removed from class until mask is worn correctly, Principals meets with student and contacts parents.
  2. Second issue with mask compliance- Student is asked to leave school for the remainder of the day.
  3. Third issue with mask compliance- Student is moved to fully digital learning with no on campus instruction. Return to school planning will occur with parents, Pastor and Principal.

Medication Administration

Our trained school staff can administer medicine to students if needed. Over the counter products like cough drops, medicated ointments/chapsticks, and sunscreen all require a signed consent form.
  • If your student needs medicine regularly while on campus, please provide the medicine and complete the attached Medication Administration form.
  • If your student may, in emergencies, need medicine, please provide the medicine and complete the Medication Administration form.
  • Medicine and forms are kept in the school office.
  • Our primary medication administrators are Tabitha Spieler and Ashley Sheridan.

PTO: Room Parent Openings

We have just a few Room Parent Openings on School Speak. Room Parents are in charge of planning a Halloween party, Valentine's Day party, celebrating the teacher's birthday and any other events per the teacher and class. It's a fun way to volunteer.

School Speak & Grades

School Speak is our student information system, grading system and main communication tool. We highly recommend parents use the School Speak app.
  • Update your student's emergency contact information
  • Update approved pick up list
  • Find homework, upcoming tests/quizzes and announcements
