FACTS Financial Changes
We merged our FACTS Financial account with our FACTS Family Portal. You can now find school information and tuition information in the same spot- the Family Portal. A new header in the left side menu is 'Financial'. Here you can see tuition due, incidentals due (hot lunch, club fees, etc) and make payments. Please let us know if you have questions.
IXL: Math and Spanish practice
HT purchased subscriptions for IXL Math and Spanish for all 3rd-8th graders. IXL is an web-based program to help students practice needed skills. The program is fun and interactive with games. We highly encourage you to have your child spend time on IXL. Research by IXL reports that just 15 minutes a day will improve Math knowledge scores rapidly. End of Trimester 2
Trimester 2 ends on March 17th. We are two weeks away. For students who receive grades on daily assignments and assessments (3rd-8th), it is important to look for missing and absent assignments and low score patterns. Now is the time to check in with your child and encourage them to finish the trimester with their best work and effort. Parents can see student scores in the FACTS Family Portal.
MS Leadership with CCHS
Central Catholic High School's Leadership Academy students came to HT last week to lead a retreat for our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. The focus of the day was two-fold: 1- how can I be a leader in a virtue driven community? and 2- what virtues do I need to work on to be the leader I want to be? Our students did a great job engaging and reflecting. You can see some of their reflections and goal setting below.
