Students in grades 4-8 can audition and all will get a role in the play. Students do not need to prepare anything for auditions.

PTO NewsTrunk or Treat: Friday, October 22nd
We have decided to host a family trunk-or-treat again this year after such a huge success last year! Come dressed in costume, take pictures at the photobooth, dance to spooky music and collect as much candy as you can!

Halloween CostumesStudents are allowed to wear Halloween Costumes to school on Friday, October 22nd. All costumes must follow our dress code in the handbook.

Picture Day: October 19Picture Day is tomorrow! All students in PK through 8th will take pictures for Picture Day. HT students wear their uniforms for school pictures. The 19th is only individual pictures. In the spring, we hope to take group photos. Order forms were sent home last week. Parents can also order online here.
Parent Teacher ConferencesOctober 28 and 29 are Parent Teacher Conferences. Conferences will be offered via Zoom in 10-20 minute increments. Sign-up links are posted in the FACTS Family Portal. If you'd like an in-person conference in grades PK-5, please email the teacher directly. To limit the exposure of our middle school staff, we are only offering in person conferences to students working with Learning Resource.
Weekly Covid ScreeningThis Thursday will be our first testing day for students and families that opted in to the weekly Covid Screening through OHSU. Students will come home with an information packet, including how-to test and the test kit. Students should complete the saliva test BEFORE they eat or drink on Thursday morning. Bring the collected sample to school and drop in the cooler in the lobby.
Pack 598 NewsThursday, October 21 is our first Pack Meeting! We will meet at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. Scouts, please come in full uniform. If your son or daughter in kindergarten through 5th grade is interested in joining Scouts, it’s not too late! If they are interested in making new friends and having fun adventures please email us at: [email protected]. Alternatively, you may text me at 503-547-3872. Last year our scouts had the opportunity to go camping, ride horses, learn archery and BB guns, go panning for gold, race Pinewood Derby cars that they made, and much more.
