There are so many opportunities every day to give to others by offering a kind word, smile, and a helping hand. This week we will encourage students to be aware of the needs of others and to look for opportunities to share with others. Sharing can be our time, our friendship, or our patience. Imagine the impact we could create collectively if we dedicated ourselves to smiling and saying hello to people we meet throughout our day. Thank you for helping our students practice this virtue throughout the week.

RemindersAll medication that is sent to school needs to be in the original container, labeled with the student’s name, and turned into the office. Students come to the office and ask Monica for the medication.
Spring Concert (Pre-K through 5th grades)Our Holy Trinity Spring Concert will be two weeks from today, Tuesday, June 4 at 5pm in the Church! Our PreK-5th grade, with help from Mr. Canedo's Middle School choir, will be sharing "Rhythms of the World," highlighting music from different countries. We look forward to having you join us!
PERFORMANCE ATTIRE:
Field DayField Day is Thursday, June 6th. Our tradition is for 8th graders to host field day stations as their final gift to our community. Students will be split into 20 groups. Each group will consist of Pre-K through 7th graders and a staff member to lead them from station to station. Groups are assigned free dress T-Shirt colors to identify them- similar to the Titan Run. After field day is over, kids get to enjoy an 8th Grade vs. Staff volleyball game.
Please click the button below and scroll through the list to locate your child's name. You'll see the name of the teacher that will lead them to their stations and their T-Shirt color to wear on Thursday, June 6th. End of School PicnicLet’s kick-off the summer with a fun school community event! Upon early dismissal June 14th, head out to the playground area with your kid(s). We’ll have a delicious Taco Bar, music, a photo area, inflatable Axe Throwing and Baseball Throwing, and fun carnival games with PRIZES. In addition, Handel’s Ice Cream will be onsite to serve your favorite flavors for purchase. Handel’s will donate a percentage of the proceeds back to the school! To keep this event fun and safe, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please sign-up here to volunteer. Children attending must have a parent/guardian present. We look forward to seeing you for one last school hurrah!

Monday morning students received raffle tickets
Tuesday morning (8:30-9:00) is our Titan Run celebration assembly. We hear from our honorary race director Galen Rupp, celebrate our community accomplishment, recognize lap winners for each grade, and announce the raffle prize winners. *** Note regarding lap counts this year. Due to our date change for the run we used a different company for our lap tracking this year. Unfortunately this company's technology failed to capture 17 students in their report. We have worked with teachers and parents to try to capture that data into our final reports for both lap pledges and awards of "Most Laps" for the assembly. We are very sorry this happened and will move forward with another tracking solution next year. Thank you prize basket, prize item, and gift card donors! Your incredible generosity helped to keep our Titans focused on fundraising this year. CYO - Track & Field Success!Holy Trinity came to compete this weekend at the CYO Meet of Champions and the results speak for themselves:
-72 personal records -The Cub (5th/6th grade) boys DOMINATED their division, easily taking 1st. -The Cadet (7th/8th grade) boys also had a good showing, taking 2nd place! -In the overall team category, Holy Trinity took 2nd place!!! This is an amazing achievement reflecting a lot of hard work and dedication! We also had a pretty long list of notable individual performances: -Avery Borchardt now owns the sprint events for the Holy Trinity Cub Boys, he is the record holder in the 100 (12.89), 200 (26.08) and 400 (58.35). -Desmond Hansen blew the competition away in the javelin. Not only did he re-break his club record, but with a throw of 143’0”, he broke the CYO MOC record by a WHOPPING 33 feet! -Floriana Borchardt re-broke here high jump record (literally) setting the bar at 4’10” -Floriana also re-broke her record in the cub girls 400, with a blazing 1:03.69 -Maverick Salazar was in an 800 M race that would see himself and two other boys land nationally relevant times in what many say is the race of pain. He is now the Holy Trinity record holder in this event with a time of 2:25.23! -Olive Court broke our (very lofty) Cub Girl record in shot put with a put of 31’7”. -The Cub Boys 4 X 100 team (including Gudeta Sherman, Avery Borchardt and Desmond Hansen) re-broke their week's old record with a time of 52.56 seconds, cruising to a competitive 1st place -The Cadet Boys 4 X 100 team was in an extremely competitive race and took 2nd place, but broke our club record in the event, posting a blistering time of 48.65 seconds. The members of the team included Harlen Sampson, JJ Sheridan and Jagger Salazar To see all the results, visit: https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/meet/560442/results/all PTO NewsMeeting minutes HERE
