(Wear your festive pjs to class all day!) *Save the Date: Our first school Christmas Concert Movie will premiere on December 15th!* 8th Grade Yoghurt Finalists!Help us decide on the top three yoghurt brands that 8th graders created as part of their yoghurt engineering project! They were given the (FICTIONAL) scenario of the school wanting to provide a healthy and delicious yoghurt recipe and brand to be provided as part of a breakfast option during morning EC. They put a lot of hard work into developing, making, and testing their yoghurt recipes before designing an advertisement, an eye-catching label and calculating an accurate nutrition table. The 6th and 7th graders helped vote on all 52 eighth grade projects and narrowed it down to the top five designs you'll see below. Voting is open until 3pm on Friday the 4th of December. You can share the Monday Minute with family and friends as well, but each person/email address may only vote once. Here is the link to vote!
PTO: Dinner Night OutDuring this busy holiday season enjoy someone else's cooking, support local business, and raise funds to benefit HT school events. Funds raised benefit students and staff activities, like holiday classroom events, teacher appreciation efforts, and more. We have two upcoming Dinner Night Out Events coming in December and will have more planned in the future. You can order online or pick-up in-person for take-out. Some places might be offering dine in options depending on county COVID status.
Washington County MetricsYou can track Washington County metrics here. To open Kinder through 6th Grade fully, we need 50 or fewer cases per 100,000 for 14 days. To open 7th-8th grades, elementary schools need to demonstrate the ability to limit transmission in the school environment.
