Courageous Conversations

We are excited to welcome Central Catholic High School's Principal Danyelle Ramsey, Director of Diversity David Blue and CCHS students on campus Tuesday for Courageous Conversations: How We Treat Each Other. As our 8th graders prepare for graduation and new relationships, we want to make sure they have the skills to lead with compassion, to be problem solvers and peace makers.

Dyslexia and Literacy Partnership

We are excited to partner with Danielle Thompson to bring dyslexia and literacy evaluation to our campus! Danielle is a private dyslexia tutor, certified screener, and President of the Oregon Branch of the International Dyslexia Association. If you are interested in having your child tested, please read Danielle's intro here. Evaluations will be held on campus and for a greatly reduced fee. If you have questions, please contact Ashley Sheridan at asheridan@htsch.org or Danielle Thompson at dmthompson32@icloud.com.

School Mass

Please join us for our school Mass, hosted by 4th grade, on Wednesday at 2:15pm. With more students back on campus and social distancing in the church, we cannot host many parents and visitors. Please attend only if you are a parent, family or special friend of the hosting class.

Spring Break Travel

Governor Brown recently updated her travel guidance for travel outside of Oregon. We are asking that families traveling carefully reflect on their exposure before returning to school.
  • If you travel for Spring Break and keep your additional exposure to a minimum, maintaining your typical 'pod', please return to school at your discretion.
  • If you travel for Spring Break and expand your exposure/'pod' with new people and interactions, please stay home for the first week after Spring Break and return to campus April 5th.

Baptism & First Communion

If you have a child who would like to receive First Communion this spring, please mark your calendars for our kickoff meeting on Sunday, March 21st (sessions at 12:30pm or 3:00pm)! We will go over our preparation plan and important dates. We are also gathering names of children age 7 or older who have not yet been baptized and would like to be. Please email Ally (allyr@h-t.org) with your child(ren)’s information and any questions!
